According to resolution 0002-2022 issued on 7 January 2022 by the Ministry of Public Health and Social Assistance, the isolation period for persons testing positive for Covid-19was regulated.
This regulation stipulated that when a person obtains a positive result for Covid-19 from a laboratory authorised by MISPAS, and is asymptomatic or requires outpatient treatment, he/she must remain in isolation for seven calendar days, starting from the date of the positive test, and without the need to obtain a medical leave of absence. At the end of the above-mentioned period, the person must return to his or her daily work without the need for a negative Covid-19 test.
In addition, the following recommendations for the labour sector were made to COVID-19:
- Reduce the number of workers present at the workplace, and opt for teleworking if necessary, with special attention to people over 60 or with diagnosed clinical co-morbidities.
- Encourage natural ventilation in workplaces.
- Wear a mask properly, protecting the nose, mouth and face, and adjusting its contour to the face.
- Ask your workers to complete the primary immunisation schedule of Covid-19 immunisation with three corresponding doses for all persons over 18 years of age.
- Recommend optional booster dose (4th dose), which may be given six months after the third dose.
- Encourage frequent hand washing and the use of alcohol hand gel in public places.
- Avoid crowds of people.
