NewsNational Wage Committee approves minimum wage adjustment for construction workers

By Resolution No. CNS-03-2022 dated April 18, 2022, the National Wage Committee approved a 24% adjustment to the minimum wage for workers in the construction and related industries, of which 21% will be effective as of the effective date of said Resolution and the remaining 3% as of October 1, 2022.

The new minimum wages will be as follows:

These salaries do not include the general master builders, being these the workers who due to their experience and knowledge can direct all the work required for the execution of a construction project.

Workers who at the date of the resolution earn a salary equal to or higher than the new adjusted salary will continue to receive the same salary, although such salary may be improved by agreement between the parties.
