NewsSCJ: banks cannot deduct outstanding debts from payroll accounts without prior authorization

The Supreme Court of Justice (SCJ) issued ruling SCJ-PS-22-0717 which establishes that banks cannot deduct debts from workers’ salaries without prior notice, unless an authorization agreement has been established between both parties.
