Santo Domingo. As official sponsors, Ulises Cabrera participated in the Legal Seminar on Artificial Intelligence (AI) organized by the legal committee of the French-Dominican Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIFD).
At the event, held on May 28, our partner Magdalena Almonte stood out as a panelist in the discussion on the legal challenges of artificial intelligence in the Dominican Republic. Mónica Villafaña, president of the CCIFD legal committee, moderated the panel “AI and Business: From Theory to Implementation” and provided the final report and closing remarks.
The closing ceremony included a tribute to Milton Ray Guevara, former president of the Constitutional Court, presented by Jorge Galiber, president of the CCIFD and CEO of TotalEnergies, with a tribute by Mónica Villafaña. The large turnout highlighted the interest and relevance of these topics. We remain committed to leadership and legal preparation in the face of AI challenges in our country!
